Twitter warns of Government hacking

For the first time in all this years, Twitter has sent warnings to some users that their accounts may have been hacked by "state-sponsored actors". The email Twitter sented inform the users the hackers may have sought their email, IP or phone number.

A Canadian non-profit organization called Coldhak posted this photo of the email they recived:

Some IT experts think these are the same hackers who breached Sony's computer network last year and leaked huge amounts of confidential accounts, hackers that were backed by the North Korean state. Pyongyand denied this.

A cybersecurity expert at the Center of Strategic and International Studies in Washington DC called James Lewis the hackers of this attack may be able to use other measures shuch as human agents or communications intercepts to successfully bypass any security measures, so they have far greater resources than criminal hacker groups.

Mali attack: Rocket kills three at UN base at Kidal

Eight days ago, an atac with guns in a hotel in Bamako, Guinea, killed nineteen people. An new atac in Kidal(Mali) today-28 of November killed two UN peacekeepers and a civilian contractor from Guinea.

In 2014 was aproved the peacekeeping mission, after french military led Mali to drive out Islamist militants from the north. This Minusma mission consist of 10,000 soldiers from dozens of different contributor countries, with many west African neighbours.

This was not the first attack, in recent years they suffered the dead of 56 troops.

"Our camp in Kidal was attacked early this morning by terrorists using rockets"-said an official from the Minusma mission.
Suspected are Islamist militants and 14 people were injured.

Ukraine's police say 'goodbye' to Russian social networks

Ukraine is in the process of replacing its corrupt and brutal police with new, modern and approcheable cops who became an hit on social media. They look young, friendly, good-looking and likeable and taking selfies, what became a craze.

But the government of Ukraine is demanding a few new officers: on Wednesday, the Interior Ministry has announced the sackment of gour police officers and the investigation of other five for support pro-Russian separatists on social media posts: "They contradict the moral and ethical qualities of a Ukrainan police officer"

"There is no room in state service for those who disrespect their own country" said Anton Herashchenko, an Interior Ministry adviser, after the outing of one policeman because of the critic of the mass rallies.

'Li-fi 100 times faster than wi-fi'

A new method of delivering data called Li-fi is can deliver internet access 100 times faster than Wi-fi, offering up to 1Gbps requiring a light source, as LED, internet connection and a photo detector.

Velmenni's invention has been tested in the laboratory and have shown theoretical speeds of up 224Gpbs.
A big advantatge of li-fi is that it does not interfere with other radio signals so it could be utilised on aircraft and other places. It can't also run out any time soon because the visible light spectrum is 10,000 times larger than radio waves. The problem is that it cannot be deployed outdoors in direct sunlight.

So, li-fi can be used in limited places to supplement wi-fi networks, as in urban areas or places where wi-fi is not so safe.

Adele's 25 makes UK chart history with 800,000 album sales

Adele's new album 25 has sold more than 800,000 copies in its first week of release - the highest ever figure for a single UK chart week.

The new album from Adele, 25, has become the first album this year to sell more than 100,000 downloads in it's first week of release, specifically more than 800,000 copies, which 252,423 sales were digital and the rest on CD. That become more than the last 19 number one albums which topped the chart.

I'ts the first time it happens in the history of British music, say Official Charts Company's chief executive Martin Tablot, "The statistics surrounding the album are staggering. We can be all absolutely sure that more records will be toppled."

According to Billboard magazine Adele's album 25 "has done the seemingly impossible"

This record is the highest one-week US sales since the previous record of 2.4 million sells by N'Sync's No Strings in 2000.

Thanksgiving For Syria App Lets You Virtually Share A Meal With Syrian Refugees

MY ACADEMIC FUTURE

I'm very frightened from next year. I don't have things very clear, I think I'm very young to decide what I want to study and what I will work in the next years. One year ago, I was decided don't go to University next year, because I see it too difficult for me, but I don't even know what to do instead University. My mum just want my happiness, but my father was a bit troubled because he always thank I would go to University.

My family said to me: "Now you don't know what to do next year, but it will come the day when you have a 'click' and you will have all clear" and that happens: two days ago I have this famous 'click': I open my eyes and i know I must make what I always wish make: be first grade teacher. For that, I will go(if I can) to the University of Gerona, the UdG. I am afraid from the cut-off mark: 7.7. I know it will be difficult years, with many studies, but I will be sooooooooooo proud of being 22 years old and have a college career.

FIRST POST: A LIFE LESSON FROM A VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTER

SUMMARY:
In this video, the assistant captain of a volunteer fire company, tells the story from his first fire. He arrive the second and his task was get in to the house and take out a pair of shoes for the owner of the house what was in flames. He did it reluctantly because he thunk the shoes weren't important(his partner saved the dog). Firstly, the woman pay much more attention to the dog as to the shoes, but after a few weeks later the department recived a letter from the woman thanking they the effort displayed to save her home. In the letter she noted above other acts that someone had even gotten her a pair of shoes.

With this, Mark Bezos realize that an individual generosity act is as important that the general and encourage the people to don't wait for improve someone's life everytime they can.

Firstly, I admire the people who participate in volunteer acts without expecting something in return, and this and all the other deserve our respect. About the moraly lesson he teach us, I think he's completely right: every day we can help someone with something, it must not be a gigant act, it can also be every single detail that make a human's life better.

I know, this 4 yoursays I'm talking about subjunctive things but I spend much of my time imagining my perfect life, the perfect world.. and one of my favourite topics is my future wedding(what I will try to make as I will explain now):

Today, thinking about my new topic for my third yoursay I rembembered that last year in "Ètica"(a subject we did in English) we talk about how would be our utopic society.
I think about again and here I will present my utopic society in different areas:

In POLICY:
There aren't corrupt politicians and this must look for the welfare of all the population.

In ECONOMY:
Every year, the govern give out a quantity of money everyone. This quantity depends of the conduct of each person.

In EDUCATION:
In 4th of ESO every student can choose the subjects he want, depending of the studies he will make.

In LAWS:
Against robberys, rapes and gener violence must be a hard penalization.

In LEISURE:
The works will be reparted in 2 groups:
-group 1: they work Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
-group 2: they work Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.


I think the world will be better when we take this as example.

1.  Can you see an improvement on your level of English in the past year/s?  Where, for example?

In the level we speak i don't see an important improvement, because with my old teacher we speak a lot and make many oral tests. Where I be better is in the listenings and writings. Specially the last one, because thanks the blog I practice a lot. We did many listenings too, but there are a little bit difficult this year because they talk very fast.

2. Which activity best shows your level of English?

Apart from the tests, to show our level without any helps was in theessays we did in class and inthe oral test of the book.

3. Which activities were really USEFUL for you to improve your English? Why?

In the oral area I think the oral test we did from the book has become very good for me and also in general we have good marks. The problem here was that we didn't practice too much the speaking in class.

I like the essays that we do as homework because with this we show our level.

4. Which activities did you NOT find useful to learn English? Why not?

The oral presentations!!!!!!!! For me in personal they haven't help me because I hate them: I'm very shame and I didn't do it so good as I can. I would like do this presentations only with the teacher or directly don't do them.

5. Which activities would like to do again next year to keep on improving your English?
I will do much songs: finish the songs in a paper where there miss words. Also I like the idea of a oral examen from a book, I would to one book every trimester. The essays have been always good for practicing in home and in class for seing our real level.

EXPECTATIONS OF LIFE

From a few days I am thinking about what I really expect from my life. I think there are very common expectations, these things you can imagine from a normal girl with a normal life. For example, get married with 25-26 and have 2 children: a boy and a girl. Also have a good job and have much money for a perfect life, including a house with a pool and a dog that acts like a guard for my family. I would life in a modern city, like Paris or New York, even Barcelona.

In conclusion, I think these are thing that many girls wait to realize, but all the changes we have during our life make us really exceptional.

SUMMER JOBS

After waiting 9 month for the summer, during the fresh autumn, the cold winter and the fast spring: summer arrives. It's one of the years where I expect a perfect summer: but I can't begin my plan how I would like. At first, I haven't found a summer job in any camping or shop. That is a problem because this year I would have like start to work and earn my own money, so I don't must ask for money to my family. It is a also a responsability for me and a possibility to start in the "job world". My idea to work was in a camping, in Aquabrava, in clothes shops or in a hotel, but in all these I have let my CV to late.

I hope I will have a little bit of luck in this few days before July starts and anyone tell me that he needs a worker, because I'm very interested.

Dr Ryan Stone and astronaut Kowalski are in the International Space Station. Suddenly, they receive an emergency call from Houston telling them that an uncontrolled satellite is going to crash into them. They try to avoid it, but it is impossible: the ISS is seriously damaged and now the astronauts are alone in the darkness of space.

My favorite character is Kowalski because of his courage.

I liked this film because it is very immersive, thanks to the music, and it makes you feel like you were there. The actors performed as good as expected.  I recommend it to anyone who likes action films and deep characters.

HOW I FEEL IN MY FIRST YEAR IN BATXILLERAT?

Before I start batxillerat, when I was in ESO, everyone said to me that batxillerat is too difficult, that when I start I wouldn't go out because I will be studying all day, that the teachers will be very bad, etc. But in my first term I was positivily surprised because I see that when you work and are constant you can pass perfectly the first year. For me it had been a little bit difficult because for me studying is very complicated: I am very clueless and very lazy. The teachers aren't so bad(they must have the power in class, because with 35 people it's not easy) but you don't have problems with they.
Of corse it's more difficult than in ESO, but don't exaggerated, only the 2 weeks when we have every day exam are very hard. That my friends study in the same class as me has help me a lot.

I do not regret that I start batxillerat and I hope 2nd is not so much difficult than this year.

To begin with my self avaluation, I must say that Claudia and me find this theme very difficult considerating with the complicate vocabulary relationated with the diseases and they symptoms, but both I must say that this is the oral presentation in English that I've done better.

My main problem is that I have many shame to present in front of many people and I have not so good pronunciation in English, what it makes more difficult too.
Talking about the pronunciation, Claudia and me before we present must have search how we must spell the few words we don't know. The vocabulary we used was correct because it was not difficult but neither a low level.

Our PowerPoint was a little bit poor in photographies, we did it very simple.

Expecting next year, I must practice my English and I must try erradicate my shame in front of my classmates and teachers

06 OF JUNE 2015

Today was a very funny day, but very tired too.
At 15h Anna's mother drive Anna, Nuria, Claudia and me to Almadrava(Roses). It was very hot, so Anna and Claudia went swim a little bit while Nuria and me stay in the sand sunbathing.

The bus to return to Empuriabrava was at 5.30, so at 4.50 we start walking to the bus station. But at 5.30 we where in the mountains yet, so we go slower for pick up the bus at 6.30. At 6.30 we arrive and we see that the bus was at 6.15 and we didn't know what we must make. The other girls want to do autostop and they did it. After 5minutes a car stop behind to us, they where 2 young boys with a convertible Audi. They drive us to Empuriabrava, and they where very friendly.

I was very tired after we walk so many, but I would repeat this day.

Now I'm going to talk about the wife of my father: Ana.
When I mention my stepmother, many people think abaout Cinderella's stepmother, in other words, an horrible person that only want utilise you. Or there are stepmothers that try to distance you from your father.
On the contrary of all this, I think Ana is the best women who my father can get. I can say I prefer my father with her instead of my mother. I know it's anormal, but I have an very good relationship with her and she is like a sister for me. She love and protect me, and we can talk about everything.
My mother and she have a good relationship also, and my mother is the godmother of my brother(I have a brother and a sister from my father's side with Ana).

So, I can say I'm very very very happy with she and I love she a lot, and when my father and she once a day finish her relation(what I hope that it don't happen) she will continue being my mother 2

JLO MOROCCAN COBNCERT SPARKS CALLS CALLS FOR MINISTER'S RESIGNATION

31 DESEMBRE: CLAUDIA AND NURIA'S BIRTHDAY

Few weeks before, Claudia and me organized all: the house, the guests, the money,...
We found a big house near Fortià where we can fit on all the guests. We talk with the owner, a old women called Montserrat and she tell us that the house costs 400during the weekend. We sawit very expensive but it was our only option.

We invited many people: 50 people and every person payed 10€. With this 10€ Claudia, Nuria and me payed the house and buyed the food and the drinks for everyone. We had a fiance of the house from 200€ who paid Claudia's father.

To Fortià I arrived with Claudia in her scooter at 7o'clock in the evening. With Nuria we prepared the foot, after Daiana comes also to prepare the bethrooms. There where only 9 beds, so I reserved my place with Claudia and Iara. At 10h everyone comes and we started to eat and drink.
We stay awake all night and next morning we started to clean the house.
We see that many things where brocken, so the owneer don't return the 200€ to Claudia's father.

It was a very funny night and I hope we repeat it!!!!

STORY OF SOLUTIONS

The video talk us about posible solutions to our problem with the stuff.

It starts sharing the idea that we have spend to much time in superficial things instead more important things like the environment.

Our economy system is designed like a game where the goal is a higher GDP, a number we achieve adding the money spend onf stuff that makes life better and all the stuff that makes life worse: GROWTH but that doesn't make our life better, it worse the environment.

There are 2 types of solutions, and for understand these we put an example: our problem with the plastic bags that polute the oceans:

*Game changing solution-> campaings to ban the plastic bags in the different comunities

*Old game solution-> a business that contains of giving people gift cards for recycle their plastic worse.

The best way is the game change: they team up with businesses that offer alternatives to the plastic bags, they must talk with their friends and all posble people to can fight against the American Chemistry Council.

Combinating this with other game changing solutions we can change the world's problem working together as acommunity. For example:
-Big share programs in cities
-Online platforms to share us things
-Public libraries that lend out different tools

With this, we can make a better future for us.

In the first place, I will mention the opcions that we find day by day to change toxic materials in our productions. Thanks to that, we reduce the pollution.

Secondly, important community campaings like the one against plastic bags (with photos of death turtles) where promoters achieve an outstanding dicrease of plastic consume.

To sum up, I think that if we promote these and other movements, we probably will improve the situation of our planet Earth.

STORY OF STUFF

5 SCHOCKING FACTS:

1. More than the 50% of petrol taxes are going to the military: government allocate the 50% if the fuel tax for the military. This numeral can increase in some countries. I think it's terrible that we spend so much money in the war.
The government should spend more money in health, education,... instead in the military.

2. 1/3 of the natural planet ressources bases been consumed: through the extraction(cutting trees and using the water, so many animals die), the mining,... This is very bad because when whe continue with this rate, we will consume our planet in a few years.

3. We use 2000 trees in a minute: this makes that we lost the 80% of the natural forests. That means that we are destroying our planet too fast. We risk the lose of all our forests, what will bring us much problems.

4. The BFR is a chemical that is toxic to the brain: we put it into our computers, couches and even some pillows. So, the breastfeading can be dangerous for the babies beacuse they consume toxics.

5. The 99% of the stuff we consume will be trashed in the next 6 months: because we live in a cicle of planned obsolence and perceived obsolence. That means that the things we buy are planned to break in short time.

SAN JUAN 2014

A very funny night was the from 24 June of 2014, San Juan.
In principle, I won't do anything this night, I don't remember why, but Claudia convince me to come because she said to me:
"Nadia, if you don't like it, I let you hit me"
I said Ok.

I went to Angela's house and from there we start with her parents, Angela, Yuri and me to Pau, to the house of Conor. There we meet with Claudia, Jere, Michel and Iara.
First we set up the tents, in total 3. It was very difficult!!! We let the work for the boys.

At 10 we dinner in Conor's house the pizzas that Iara and me prepare, the others were playing with the Play Station. After that we go to the field where we spend the night, but it was boring and we go to the municipal pool of Pau. The water was warm

At 3 we return to the tents and we narrate fear stories still we nod off. It was a very funny night!!
The next morning Claudia ask me: "Well, will you hit me now?"

CARNIVAL 2015

Here I'm going to explain a little bit our Carnival os this year, in Roses and in Castelló

We were like 15 persons in our group, the girls disguised as arbitrators and the boys as American football players.

We wear a black long pullover and over this an fluor yellow sport shirt with short sleeves. Then, black shorts and long black socks like the football players and sneackers. In addition we wear a whistle and red and green cards. There were girls with caps.

Friday 13 and saturday 14 we went to Roses, it was so cold!!! First we stay in the port, and after that, when the carnivl floats where pass, we went to the pavilion.

Friday 20 we go see Carnival in Empuriabrava and then we move on to Castelló, like the Saturday also.

This year I was with other friends as the last years, but I have very funny nights and I can still wait for the next Carnival!!

ANDORRA 2014

In this post I'm going to talk about our end of highschool trip last year: to Andorra

Firslty we think it would be boring and tired, because we imagine us all day skiing in the Vallnord.
It was the opposite!!!! The first day, yes, it was a little bit tired because we start from Empuriabrava at 4.30 in the morning. We arrived in Andorra with the bus at 9 o'clock(if I remember) and we let all our suitcases in the hotel and start with an other bus to Vallnord.

We did 2 groups to start skiing and then, in the midday we went to the cantine for meal. It was very yummy!!!! In the afternoon, we go to Andorra city in the shopping centers.

The second day, still de midday, we skii, then like the frst day we eat and in the afternoon we go to Caldea, a perfect spa for relaxing.

The third day, we did the same still we eat, and then we return to the hotel for pick up our things and grab the bus for come back house.

I wll never forget this trip, I've love it

FILM REVIEW

LA ISLA MÍNIMA

It's a film inspired in the 80 years that tourns about two Spanish police mans that must resolve the desaparition of two sisters in Guadalquivir.

Juan and Pedro are in charge of solve the desaparition of Estrella and Carmen, from 17 and 16 years. Investigating in this town where the life of the girls doesn't matter, the two officers find a serial murderer that not just is responsable for the death of the two teenagers, also from other women that stay in the forgetfulness.

In this film I don't like in special an particular character, but I like how the two officers set aside their differences and stay together for solve this difficult case. I think the films where you don't can imagine the end are the most interesting, because that make that you also think about.

What I don't like is the 80's appareance that they give to the film, because that make it a little bit boring.

Finally, I think it's a good film for people that love crime series and films, because it also explains a case insipred in real facts.

AUTOAVALUATION

GAP YEAR IN MIAMI

Firstly, I think we could do an more elaborated introduction explaining a little bit what we going to present from Miami.
Personally, I was very nervous and you can make it sure if you look the video: in many times I look down for read and I do often my hand in front of my mouth(I do it unwittingly) or I touch my sleeves. I also read and talk fast.

In the theme of the presentation, Claudia and me put few photos from the city, and so the presentation is more boring. We could also explain more from Miami beach or the places you can visit in Miami, because it's a very interesting city with many places for visit, for example the museums.
We must'n put the districts and the universities separated with photos, because it seems like we would lose time.

There are many words we haven't pronounced right, like University or climate. This is a thing we could remedy if we had search the words in internet. However, I think Claudia and me have do it very right compared with the last presentation we do: because we have preparated more this one.

For the next time, we will try to improve the pronunciation and try to work more in the presentation. Also I must think that I doesn't have to be nervous with my classmates.

I am like the BEAVER

ISTJs are logical and word-working conservative types. They enjoy organization and regulation, and have a reputation for being serious individuals who take a practical approach to everything. They are dependable and thorough, sensible and earnest. Like a beaver hard at work on its dam, they are known for being incredibly dedicated workers who will do whatever is needed to get the job done. On the negative side, they have good intentions but can sometimes have a difficult time understanding the emotional needs of others.

Personal opinion:

-I think that in the most part the test have all the reason. For begin, certainly I'm a very organized person(I hate when I can't plan my days) and many times I'm serious(when I have to be funny, I'm funny). I'm also sensible.

What I'm not so agree is in the topic from "incredibly dedicated workers", but that can be because I'm still in the highschool.

But what is 100% according to me is the part that says that I sometimes(often) forget or don't understand the emotional needs of others, because I'm still looking for me and that I'm fine. I'm very egocentric. This says to me many people that know me and my character.

I'm suprised of this test because in the begining I was thinking that the test don't would say nothing important and agree with me, but it's the opposite.

The favourite of my pets is clearly my cat Kitty.
I adopt she from ProGat after she been found poisoned in a rubbish container, her sister dies.

She is 4 years and small, skinny with have big blue eyes. She is very bold, flexible and very very clever.

Sometimes I come back to my house and she has open all the closets and drawers, it's one of her hobbys. Also an other is eat with me cookies and then sleep with me.

MY MUM

I'm going to present you my mum: Natascha.
She is 43 years old and she was born in Köln(Germany). With 5 years she comes live to Spain with her brother, my uncle Oliver, and my grandparents, Ellen and Eggi.

She is tall, skinny, blond, blue-eyed and very beautiful. From the character she is quiet and pacific, she never scream and is shy.
She can speak perfect Spanish, Catalan, English, French and a little bit Russian and Hungarian.

Before she has been mum, she was working in a night pub in Los Arcos, but when she know that she was pregnant she let it and later she start to work in a pharmacy.
From 10 years ago now she work in a processing agency(gestoria)

Her principal hobby is yoga: she make yoga classes 3 times a week and every day she dedicate time for it. I personally doesn't like this sport, but I'm happy she do it because it makes she feel better.

She hasn't got a easy life, with many diseases and obstacles, but that only makes she stronger and a better warrior for break walls.
She helps me every day with all she can, she is like my best friend because I can talk about all with her, and she knows almost everything of me and of what I do.
