Vietnam twins found to have different fathers in rare case

An extremely rare case is ocurred: fraternal twins have borned with two different fathers(their DNA looked different). This ocurrence is known as heteropaternal superfecundation and happens when a woman produces multiple eggs in one ovulation period and they are fertilised by two different men in a short period of time.

There are only 10 known same cases. It could be other cases but the parents were not to aware of it or didn't want to say it. Vietnamese news began reporting on the case because relatives had noticed that the twins looked markedly different. The last case was in 2015 involving twin girls in New Jersey. It's the third known case to ever occur in the US.

PERSONAL COMMENT:
I'm very surprised. I didn't know this can happen!! It's very strange. However, I think there are many more cases but parents(specially women) don't want to annunce this because it involves have sexual relations with two men in a short time.
